As someone who works for a content marketing agency, the importance of blogging for our clients is a no-brainer. And yet here I am, struggling to write a post for our company.
You see, at Speakeasy, we focus so much of our efforts on handling other people’s social media accounts and writing blog posts for our clients, that we found we weren’t doing a great job staying consistent on our company’s channels. To fix the problem, we decided to assign a blog post to tribe member each week in order to keep things consistent, relevant and new. It seemed like an easy solution, but my blog was due over two weeks ago and I’m just now getting around to it.
Rather than share some knowledge on content marketing strategy, our company’s culture, case studies or industry trends, I am going to share some of the most random information I’ve found on the internet this week.
Rachel Lindsay is ABC’s new Bachelorette, and she began giving out roses yesterday. For those super fans, you can join the Bachelorette Fantasy League and compete each week to see who will be getting the final rose. No judgments here. I’m totally doing it. http://bit.ly/2q4KJin
Apparently there’s something called the speckled king snake and it’s a good kind of snake because it can eat other bad snakes, like venomous copperheads. So if you see one, don’t kill it.
In-N- Out lost to Five Guys in a fast food poll and people are not happy about it.
That 50-foot creature that washed up on a beach in Indonesia is apparently the carcass of a dead baleen whale. Regardless of what it is, it will give you nightmares. http://wapo.st/2qFRFVa
Men’s rompers are now a thing.
So, that’s my blog post. It may not change your world, but you can’t say I didn’t write one.
